Introduction
Welcome to QuantiSizer. This User Guide explains how to install, activate and use the software for automated position sizing, automated alert based risk management and money management.
System Requirements
- Microsoft Excel with Macros Enabled
- Windows Operating System
- Internet connection (required only for license verification)
Installation
- Download the QuantiSizer workbook from Download Link.
- Save it to your computer.
- Open the workbook in Microsoft Excel.
- If you see a yellow bar saying "SECURITY WARNING Macros have been disabled", please click "Enable Content" to use all features.
- If Excel is warning you that the "source is not genuine" or "untrusted". "Unblock in File Properties” as below,
- Close the Excel file.
- Right-click the file and select Properties.
- In the General tab, look for the "Security" section at the bottom.
- Check the Unblock checkbox and click Apply/OK.
- Open the Excel file.
- Complete User Access process.
- Read 'INDEX' sheet to understand all subsheets after access granted.
Getting Started
Prompt Messages
- User Device_FingurePrint/Expiry/Subscription_Plan
- Edit Confirmation Setting need to be set as per your convenience whether to keep each cell edit confirmation "Enabled" or "Disable" for Manual cell Entry/Enter/Space/Double click/BackSpace/Delete so that no unwanted input get entered. If to keep Enable click "OK" and if to Disable then cleck "Cancel"
- Disclaimer/CopyRight/Todays Quantity/Change in Quantity.
Initial Setup for Setting Expected Capital Projection Path
- Enter your Initial Capital, Tracker_Start_Date, Max average premium price selection you willing to trade, Daily Total Target Points, Daily Max no. of Trades and Daily Total Loss Points.
- Change the Broker parameters as per yours or if any change as per SEBI.
- Buy/Sell Premium price you willing to trade and set difference of Buy/Sell so that it matches Points decided per trade coming under "Daily Trade Management" as per Total Trade count and Total Target Points decided.
- Same average premium price to be selected as Sell premium price as brokerage going to calculated based on this in projected expected capital. Ensure Sell Price and Max Average Premium Price selection are Same.
- This is getting used only to create Expected Capital Projection so not a real Numbers.
- Change the daily per lot size under "Tracker_Inputs" "F" Column if about to change as per SEBI from respective date.
- Set Initial Buying Price to Capital Default Ratio Factor in "B19" and its further increasing by Number in "R21" under "Tracker_Inputs".
- Set Predefined Capital Levels in "U" column of "Tracker_Inputs".These are Levels of which capital when crosses the Initial Buying Price to Capital Default Ratio factor set by you will automatically increased securing your capital more on more as it crosses every next level.
- Allow QuantiSizer to calculate the recommended quantity.
- Mention Debit % if need to keep certain amount of profit aside in record and to use whenever necessary by withdrawal from Broker account else keep 0.
Daily Basis Activities
- Add if any Day anounced as Holiday under Holiday List in "Tracker_Inputs" so that it will excluded from the system and no Position sizing data will populate on "Daily Trade Management".
- Every Trading Day before starting under "Daily_Trade_Count_Tracker" Mention Todays Total Quantity being used in "N7" and keep it same throughout the day do not change even in between you observe Auto populated quantity changed under "Daily Trade Management" so that to have "Daily_Trade_Count_Tracker" smooth automated calculation.
- Every Trading Day before starting under "Daily_Trade_Count_Tracker" Mention per trade aproximate brokerage in "N5" and adjust after every trade so that to match automated Total Brokerage showing in "O2"
- You can use Time Gap if wanted to give pause between two consecutive trades by mentioning Time Gap value in "N4" of "Daily_Trade_Count_Tracker" in minutes.
- Record your trades using the "Daily_Trade_Count_Tracker" after each trade completion, ensure you enter Sr. No. after each trade completion only once and complete all the details related to that trade entry then go for next Sr. No. entry with trade details after next trade completion only so that all trade details autocopy smoothly in Trade_Database and no duplication happens of any single trade details.
- Review your daily performance and Tracking_Status.
- Additionally you can use Withdrawal Feature only if Debit Feature is in use that is if % amount of profit kept aside logically not in real it will show how much withdrawal you have for expense in Tracking_Status "I" column according you can withdraw by mentioning amount and date in "Tracker_Inputs" sheet ensure to enter date first. If any amount entered wrong and need to changed can be done in "N" column of "Money_Management_Tracker" sheet.
- At a time use either "Debit Feature" OR "Direct Capital Withdrawal" in "Tracker_Inputs" sheet. You can mention directly direct withdrawal when done in "Direct Capital Withdrawal" column against respective date.
- If any Tax difference in Automated calculated Tax "J" column of "Money_Management_Tracker" as per your yearly expected Profit can be adjusted in "V" column of "Tracker_Inputs" by +/- the amount.
- Enter Daily profit/loss post brokerage manually in "Tracker_Inputs" OR by recording Trade details after every trade completion in "Daily_Trade_Count_Tracker". Recording Trade details will automatically keep Risk in control as well as automatically create Trading Journal.
- In case single Trade quantity size is beyond Freez Quantity Size Example: Nifty Traded Quantity(2200)>Freez Size per order(1800) and your tarde goes sliced in 2 orders in broker terminal then after completion of trade while recording that trade details in "Daily_Trade_Count_Tracker" enter as Single Trade only by entering Average Buy/Sell Price of 2 orders such that Total Profit/Loss"M2" of "Daily_Trade_Count_Tracker" appears same as Broker Terminal Todays Overall Total P&L. In this way no matter how many no. of orders created by broker based on Total Quantity but in Excel will enter Single Trade only.

Important Notes
- Enable macros for full functionality.
- Keep regular backups of your workbook.
- Always verify trade details before execution.
- Always use the same quantity from your first trade throughout the trading day..
- If a Quantity Change Detected message appears while using QuantiSizer and the Quantity to be Used Today is lower than the quantity used for your first trade of the day, stop trading for the remainder of the day. Do not continue trading with the reduced quantity, as QuantiSizer's position sizing and risk management calculations are designed to use the same starting quantity throughout the trading day.
- If the message indicates a higher quantity, continue trading with your original starting quantity for the current day. The increased quantity should be used from the next trading day.
